How do we book a session?
So you’re ready to book? Great!
Send me an email via the contact page with the session type (family photography, maternity, newborn) you would like to book along with your preferred date. If you are not sure yet which session you’d like yet, we can chat about your family and what suits you best.
We have booked in; what's next?
I will get in contact with you within 24 - 48 hours to talk about your family and your session.
I will provide you with your agreement, invoice, questionnaire, welcome and style guide all via your own Client portal.
This is when we can discuss locations for your session as well.
Once your booking fee and signed agreement has been received, your session date is confirmed. The remainder is due 7 days prior to the session date. Payment plans are also available if time permits.
What time will our session take place?
All outdoor photography sessions will take place during golden hour. This is around one hour prior to sunset. In home sessions will have a choice of a morning or afternoon session, however we can discuss this in more detail based on the best lighting available in your own home.
Where should we have our session?
You can choose to have your session in home or at an outdoor location around Perth. If you are after a carefree morning at home then let's hang out in your loungeroom. If your family loves the fresh air, adventures and sunsets then maybe the outdoor session is the one for you.
Trigg, City Beach, Fremantle have beautiful beaches which are great for sessions. The Swan Valley has beautiful grassy fields and meadows which look beautiful at the end of Summer and early Spring.
The river along Matilda Bay, Mossman Park and Bicton all have beautiful beaches and coves to explore.
One way travel of 30kms from Guildford 6055 is included in all of my packages. Travel outside of this can be discussed.
What to expect from a session?
With all of my photography sessions, I like to spend some time chatting with your family and getting to know you all. This helps everyone relax before we start creating some beautiful photos. I will guide you throughout the session and move you to locations with the best lighting to get the most out of the time we have together.
What should we wear for our session?
Once your session has been confirmed, I will provide you with a style guide filled with tips before the day. Neutral and muted colours, textures and clothing with movement look amazing.
What happens after our session?
I’m always excited to share a preview and will post one on my Facebook or Instagram page within one week from your session date.
I aim to get your gallery to you within 3 to 4 weeks of your session date.
The link to your gallery will be provided to you via email.
What do you need from us?
Just be yourselves. Be present and in the moment. I’m there to capture the beautiful raw moments and the imperfect ones too.
If you want to love hard on your babes and smother them in kisses ~ do it. If you want to give piggy back rides and walk hand in hand with your partner ~ do it. I'm there to preserve your story and capture these beautiful moments.
Can we reschedule?
We can reschedule your session if the weather isn't looking great! Dark moody clouds and wind looks good in shoots and we will continue with the session! However, if it rains, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. I will keep an eye on the weather during the morning of your session and will be in touch to discuss if we reschedule or go ahead.
Please do reschedule if someone in your family is unwell; and I will do the same to ensure we all stay healthy.
